As an IT Support Technician, you will serve as the primary on-site technical resource for our warehouse\u00A0 operations. You will provide critical hands-on support for a diverse ecosystem of hardware, software, and\u00A0 networking infrastructure. This role requires a "fixer" mentality\u2014someone who can pivot from debugging a\u00A0 Linux script to performing mechanical repairs on high-end equipment, all while providing exceptional service to\u00A0 our operational teams.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Ensure Operational Continuity: \u00A0Maintain maximum uptime\u00A0 for warehouse systems by providing rapid\u00A0 response to hardware and software failures.

• Empower Operators: \u00A0Act as a technical bridge, translating\u00A0 complex issues into simple solutions for\u00A0 non-technical staff and DC leadership.

• Continuous Improvement: \u00A0Identify recurring technical\u00A0 bottlenecks and work independently to\u00A0 implement lasting fixes or process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware & Mechanical Support: \u00A0Install, configure,\u00A0 and perform physical repairs on desktops,\u00A0 touchscreen monitors, printers, and handheld devices. Maintain and troubleshoot specialized\u00A0 photography equipment, including mechanical components and sensor cleaning.

• Linux & Software Administration: \u00A0\u00A0Support and troubleshoot\u00A0 Linux-based workstations and\u00A0 specialized warehouse management software. Execute basic scripting to automate routine tasks.

• Network Maintenance: \u00A0Diagnose and resolve connectivity\u00A0 issues related to Wi-Fi access points, Ethernet cabling, and network peripherals. Assist engineering teams with on-site rack cable \u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 \u00A0\u00A0management and port patching.

• Documentation & Training: \u00A0\u00A0Manage the IT ticketing\u00A0 lifecycle; document all resolutions to build a local\u00A0 knowledge base. Train warehouse operators on basic troubleshooting to reduce repetitive service\u00A0 requests.

• Data & Quality Assurance: \u00A0Analyze operational data to identify quality trends. Perform testing on new\u00A0 internal application releases before they go live on the warehouse floor.

• Inventory & Procurement: \u00A0 \u00A0\u00A0Independently manage the lifecycle of IT assets, from placing orders for\u00A0 supplies to processing RMAs for defective hardware.

What We\u2019re Looking For

• Experience: \u00A01\u20133 years of technical support experience\u00A0 in a warehouse, production, or high-volume\u00A0 environment.

• Linux Proficiency: \u00A0Comfort working within a Linux terminal; ability to navigate file systems and run\u00A0 diagnostic commands.

• Technical Versatility: \u00A0Strong mechanical aptitude for disassembling/reassembling hardware and a\u00A0 solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.

• Customer Service Excellence: \u00A0Proven ability to remain\u00A0 calm under pressure and communicate\u00A0 effectively with users of varying technical skill levels.

• Independence: \u00A0A self-starter who can prioritize a high-volume ticket queue without constant\u00A0 supervision.

• Physical Requirement: \u00A0Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on a ladder or in tight spaces as required by\u00A0 hardware placement.
