How You Will Make An Impact:

We’re seeking a Client Success Manager to join our fast-growing Resale-as-a-Service (RaaS) team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of brand partners and ensuring the ongoing success and growth of their resale programs with ThredUp. From program launch to ongoing execution, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact, owning the client relationship and driving results.

You will take full ownership of the brand relationship from the moment a deal is closed. Your focus will be on nurturing and growing these partnerships by identifying opportunities to optimize performance, expand program reach, and drive participation. A key success metric for this role is increasing customer engagement and clean-out kit volume, ensuring strong supply flow for each brand’s program.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Business Development, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping brands embrace circularity. We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and organized team player who is passionate about the resale landscape and can communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

In This Role You'll Get To:

  • Own Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for a growing portfolio of nearly 50 brand partners. Build strong relationships, foster engagement, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction across all interactions.
  • Drive Program Success: Oversee the end-to-end execution of partner programs, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables while proactively managing performance and expectations.
  • Grow Client Business: Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through upsells, program enhancements, and performance improvements that increase impact and drive measurable results.
  • Deliver Insights & Reporting: Share regular reporting and key performance metrics with clients, providing strategic recommendations to help optimize their resale programs.
  • Coordinate Internally: Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless program execution, resolve issues, and continuously enhance the partner experience.
  • Standardize & Scale:  Help develop and refine internal playbooks, processes, and documentation to support the efficient management and growth of client accounts at scale.
  • Drive Supply Growth: Collaborate with brand partners to uncover new inventory opportunities, boost Clean Out Kit and Resale Shop participation, and support overall program expansion.

What We’re Looking For

  •  5+ years in account management, client success, partnerships, or growth roles, ideally within e-commerce, retail, agencies, or related industries. Experience with marketing and light design is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio (50+ clients), meet deadlines, and keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned and informed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-first, service-oriented mindset. You know how to build trust and drive collaboration.

  • Comfortable interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities. Proficient in Excel and experienced with CRM tools; bonus points for familiarity with Looker, Clay, or Lemlist.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven with a passion for improving workflows and scaling programs.

  • Enthusiastic about ThredUp’s mission and genuinely interested in sustainability, circularity, and transforming the future of fashion.

  • Exceptionally strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills. You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to keep moving parts in motion.

At ThredUp, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $100,000 and $130,000 and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
